Attention parents of students entering the 6th and 9th grades for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year! LPS will be implementing a new residency verification policy. This will be a requirement for students starting on the first day of school (August 16, 2017). The calendar window to submit required documentation will be June 15 - July 29, 2017.  Parents are encouraged to begin gathering the information below to submit during the calendar window to avoid long lines and/or enrollment delays:

Acceptable proofs of residency
(Two different utilities - water, gas, or electric OR lease agreement OR non-contingent home sales contract OR settlement statement from home purchase)

Liberty Juniors is providing their last volleyball league for this school year starting on April 11th. The league meets on Tuesday nights from 5:30-7:00 at Liberty Middle School.  The cost is $70 and includes a team t-shirt.  The league is coached by experienced High School coaches and provides skill training and game-like play for all 3rd-6th graders.  Deadline for this league is April 3rd.  Sign up quickly to reserve your spot.  Email Erica Bruggemann, ebruggemann@liberty.k12.mo.us, for any questions or to check for league availability.

Discovery Middle School and Liberty Middle School are supporting the Building Pride Activities Complex Campaign through the sales of “Price Chopper Grocery Grab” raffle tickets.  100% of all ticket sales will go to the Building Pride Campaign.

 

A $5 raffle ticket gives you a chance to win the following:

·         One of four $100 Price Chopper gift cards

·         One 5-minute Grocery Grab – 5 minutes to grab as many groceries as possible!

 

Each $5 ticket is also a $5 coupon to Price Chopper – this is a no lose situation!

 

·         On December 3rd at 10:00 a.m., five semi-finalists will be drawn at each store.

·         On December 10th at 7:30 a.m.:

o   4 of the semi-finalists will be selected to win a $100 gift card to Price Chopper

o   1 of the semi-finalists will be selected for the Grocery Grab!  The winner will get five minutes to grab as many groceries as he or she can!  (Must be present to win.)

 

If you would like to buy raffle tickets, please see any 8th grade boys’ basketball team member, building secretaries at DMS or LMS, or Amanda Renfro (LMS), or Bob Willis (DMS).

 

Tickets will be sold through November 29th.
